Love Conquers all, Even COVID19
Brian and Cindi's Wedding in Arizona
It has come to no surprise to anyone that couples have had to cancel or postpone their weddings because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has swept across the nation. One of our couples, Brian and Cindy were on the fence and had gone back and forth trying to make the right decision for them.
When they called us and told us they had thought about it and concluded that they did not want to spend another day not married, who were we to say no? They went from a planned wedding to deciding they wanted to elope in Arizona. Family and friends still felt like wedding guests because they could live-stream the ceremony!
As we were taking photos of the details and getting ready photos, it began to drizzle! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck and I think that held true for our couple because it sprinkled for only about 5 minutes before the clouds moved on and left our couple with nothing but gorgeous sunset for their nuptials.
Our couple enjoyed their first look on a gorgeous bridge that they fell in love with. The waterfall made their first look even more intimate because it drowned out all the other sounds and just let the two of them enjoy their moment.
Since they had downsized the wedding because of Covid-19 many decorations that our couple had taken a lot of time to pick and design were at risk of not being used. We couldn’t resist breaking some out so they could make an appearance and so that our couple could enjoy them on their special day.
Love conquers all, even Corona. As we were enclosed in the surrounding mountains and the sun started to set, the wedding ceremony began. Everyone realized out of all the wedding venues, this was the perfect setting for their wedding.
With their decorations, we set up this area and took a photograph of Brian and Cindy as they cracked open a cold Corona and relaxed in the afterglow finally saying “I do”
With a world on pause, Brian and Cindy showed that love does not stop. Not even when the rest of the world is at a standstill. Congratulations to our newlyweds!
